Synopsis
After beginning to work in Las Vegas, Lorna had found that Money and Lies were very important especially to the Mafia. But now the Mafia had been run out of Las Vegas because of Corporations moving into the city. But what so many forget Corporations are very similar to the Mafia. They too knew about their competition and they knew how to use this information in more than places then the Mafia. In fact, the only ones in a more knowledgeable area of deception was The Government. They ran on Secrets and Power. This was now the most important thing one most learn in order to go higher up the ladder of The Food Chain of Life. Lorna had learned to operate within the rules when the Mafia ran the town but more important now was Secrets and Power. Also not letting anyone know anything about you was of very important. And who would suspect a small little girl working behind a desk in an office where the owner had helped The Mob previously and wanted to believe he was still all powerful was of any importance. Granted he had given her a small percentage of the business because she did help him with some of his endeavors and she didn't care if he took credit for her ideas. He always gave her Rewards whenever anything helped him. He thought they worked very well together and he was in control. He never thought she was smart enough to gather information on his Secrets which she felt would someday be very useful in helping her up the ladder of The Food Chain. He had know idea while he was playing poker she was playing Chess and he and his son were only pawns for using Power in The Food Chain of Power and Secrets.
