À propos de l'auteur
Dr, Platt was born and raised in Chicago, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northwestern University Medical School. He served his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Harbor General County Hospital, where he took care of everyone from the homeless to socialites. Dr. Platt subsequently did a Cardiology and Electrophysiology Fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, California and started a private practice in Electrophysiology specializing in the budding techniques of cardiac ablation therapy. Dr. Platt ultimately entered academic medicine as an Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of Electrophysiology at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. He is currently working as a specialist on medical compliance, dealing with the complexities of hospitalization, Medicare, insurance, and Obamacare, and has a first-hand knowledge of what he calls the "catastrophic and deadly deterioration of the whole fabric of American medical delivery." He lives in Albuquerque with his wife of 29 years, Lisa Corine Platt.
