Synopsis

It was 1930 and Ruby Rose’s world was now a different place. She was alone and close to being penniless. Her ace in the hole was her family’s farm in Cornishville, Kentucky. Returning to her roots was not what she had wanted, she wanted her old life back but because of circumstances beyond her control that door was slammed shut forever. The one thing that made this transition bearable was the thought of being isolated on the four-hundred-acre farm. She hadn’t had time to properly grieve her soul wrenching loss. She needed time and seclusion to heal but life had other plans for her. Ruby Rose’s seclusion didn’t last for long when intruders interrupted her solitude with their own set of problems giving her a reason to embrace life once again. Helping others emboldened her to finally confront her darkest secret and seek the justice that had been denied her.
