Synopsis

Tsurumi's comics deftly combine stunningly beautiful imagery with wildly funny commentary about life as she observes it. The result is a comic style that somehow manages to be ridiculous and sublime, combined with a sense of humor that is both silly and wry. Tsurumi's comics cover topics as diverse as poodles, brassieres, sports fans, pie, the Civil War, and how to swim.
