"A dream is a thought that in times falls between the stages of recognition for the purpose of reasoning and meanings. Then there too, when doing your best and it works out, it becomes great. But in doing the best you can and it fails to work out, it becomes greater because you've given your best, which is all one can ask for."

A retiree and a disabled Army veteran, Alim M. Bey grew up in Maryland. He now lives in North Carolina. After serving in the military, the author/poet later became a police officer and is now the author of five books.
