RICK ROSE,a second-generation Floridian born and raised in the Palm Beach area, graduated from the Florida State University College of Business with a degree in hospitality management and worked for major hotel groups for 20 years, mainly in international sales and marketing. He left the international hotel business in 2004 to open a B & B resort in West Palm Beach and now co-owns and operates Palm Beach Vacation Rentals. Rick is also the official historian of the Worth Avenue Association, an active member of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County, the Flagler Museum and the Palm Beach Preservation Foundation. He was also appointed by the Palm Beach County Board of Commissioners to serve on the board of directors of Discover the Palm Beaches, Palm Beach County’s destination marketing organization.
