Gene Stark lives and writes surrounded by the mystical outdoor world of rural Minnesota. As a farmer, writer, and elementary teacher he has spent much time enjoying and studying the natural world, as well as imparting the wonders of the wild to his children and grandchildren. The intricate web of life has inspired him to write several books. His first children's book, "The Flutermacawn" explores the concept of invasive, non-native species in a simple, colorful, yet positive manner. His weekly blog focuses on rural, outdoor topics and information on his other books can be found at www.flyovercountryscribe.com.
