Synopsis

The year is 1997 and Katy Glotfelty's company in he city has been downsizing. Her mother requests she returns to the country to be a caretaker for her beloved Granny -- who has bipolar disorder. Katy has no where to go, so moves back to the sleepy town and next to her meddling mother. Granny Annie turns out to be a handful, and to pay her student loans Katy takes a job at a local nursing home. An eligible nurse takes an interest in her, but she is so busy with Granny she doesn't have time. Besides, she keeps dreaming she is 10 years old and meeting a boy that may really be just a dream. A loosely written story filled with humorous antedoctes about having a family member who is bipolar, working at a nursing home, and just the day to day of life.
