Synopsis

Al Sutton, a Washington, D.C., lawyer has a problem. His wife, Kathy Sutton, a Pentagon logistics analyst, has been abducted by terrorists in Afghanistan. Word is she may be a terrorist herself. He has received a text summoning him to Afghanistan from an old Army buddy who works with his wife. Should he go? He doesn’t hesitate. The result is a journey across the desolate landscape and into the mountains of western Afghanistan. He and his wife make a desperate escape, aided and taken prisoner by a mysterious Afghan who may or may not be a terrorist himself. From there, they find themselves fighting for their lives in the home of tribal warlord and drug dealer, Ali Mohammad. Now Al has a new problem. He must come to terms with the knowledge that the people trying to kill them are the same people Kathy works with. Kathy has a problem, too. Will Al still love her after discovering the secret life she lives?
