Americans need to vote more. Our participatory government won't work otherwise. Our voting rate is among the lowest in the world. The series of booklets is designed to let readers know that the cost of not voting can be significant. If we don't vote, someone else might make decisions for us, and we might not like the results. In our busy, day-to-day lives, we rarely get time to reflect on the government under which we live and that affects us every day. In this series of books, we’ll look at how our government works (think taxes, gun control, health care, education) and why voting is patriotic and in everyone's self-interest. Future books to be released will cover health care, education and student debt, gun control, the electoral college, the Supreme Court, and others. The will be released over a series of months.
