Synopsis

Artist and Gerontologist Cathy Weiss had the opportunity to travel to Cuba on a cross cultural exchange. While there she visited all the major art galleries, community art projects, and was granted special permission to spend time at ISA the Cuban Arts Unniversity. She toured the medical clinics, lived and dined with local artists , professors, architects, and art historians. She was so moved by the people and what she experienced she was compelled to write this collection of short stories, many which have been published as stand alone stories, or read at her Cuban art and photo exhibits. This is her second memoir.
