Synopsis
Earth 170 years from now is struggling to recover in the wake of a near planet killing meteor strike. Most of the world's population was lost and the technology we enjoy today is all around them but useless. In the struggle to simply survive, generations have lost the expertise to operate what we take for granted. Reverse engineering is the dominant industry but the progress is agonizingly slow. An unlikely group of young people and their teacher set out to solve a murder from just prior to the disaster in the hope that the answer will lead them to a treasury of lost technology. They discover astoundingly evil forces in the past and must cope with greedy conspiracies against them in their own time as they follow ancient clues, left behind by the victims. Throughout their adventure they seek knowledge but what they gain is a unique wisdom they never expected.
