    The first murder happened when a security guard took an elevator down into the underground basements and interconnected tunnels below the massive theme park. As soon as he stepped out of the elevator, he saw an elf. An elf? Yes, a living breathing elf. But this one looked more like a pro wrestler than a children’s fairy tale character. With all the Comic-Con type costume play at the park, he was used to such sights.
     Not to be fooled, the guard thought this was probably a burglar dressed up like a tourist. He lit up the intruder's gruff whiskery face with a flashlight. "Hey buddy, what are you doing down here?
     The elf cursed up a storm, and added in a deep voice, "You're the one who's in big trouble, fella."
    And sure enough, when the sun came up and the park opened, the tourists spotted that same guard lying face down on the ground, near the park's entrance. He was stone cold dead. And that tough little elf? Nowhere to be seen.
    As the private eye said above, "What's going on?"
