Synopsis

The rules for managing a company are mostly already written and working. Why then is so common for the budgets to get overflown? If we have experienced managers that were successful in a facility, why they turn out to have such a hard time in a new location? What is different, what is happening there that makes it so difficult? Why I cannot get the answers for the simple questions I ask when I make a phone call? Why my employees are not giving the results that are expected from them? This kind of questions are tormenting top managers around the world when they send employees abroad. So there must be something else happening that was not accounted for. This work is not a big mathematical exercise, and for some cases the capacity to accept and understand what is said here, won´t be immediate, but it is easy, if it happened once, will happen once again, so it is a good thing for you to be aware and prepared for whatever can come. For those that already have a company abroad, or maybe are being sent to manage one, this book is a good guideline to take into consideration, after all… it is no holiday what you are taking, but a business trip.Take a chance and read it.
