Dr. Haskell is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in the state of Utah, a graduate of the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, and has been in practice for approximately 35 years. Haskell’s fundamental belief is that most chronic conditions are due to the combination of three primary causes; nutritional deficiencies, the body’s total burden of chemicals, toxins and heavy metals, and low-grade, systemic chronic infections, i.e. bacteria including spirochetes, viruses, mold and parasites. The first step is to investigate all the possible underlying causes and to then address them with various holistic therapies. “Of course we want to know what the person’s diagnosis is, but this not enough. We need to ask the question, ‘Why? What are the causes of this person’s condition?’”This is the art of medicine, to support the person’s innate wisdom and capacity to heal by removing stored toxic waste, by eradicating pathogens and by providing the body with all the nutrients required for recovery.
