Synopsis

This is an assortment of inspirational poetry. It was birthed during my period of despair and despondency when I perceived all was lost. In 1963 I was x-rayed during my third pregnancy in twenty-nine (29) months and discovered we were expecting our third (3rd) set of twins. Our oldest child was under the age of four (4). The fear of having such a large family set in; we were bound to be poor and live a life of poverty. We were a military family. I began to weep but at that moment the Holy Spirit comforted me, saying “Wipe those tears you don’t have to be poor. You can do anything you want to do and be anything you want to be”. I grabbed hold of His promise and I have looked back only to reflect on his faithfulness to me. We even had an eighth child. Some of the poems were inspired by trials, others inspired by joy, then there are those written while in the midst of ministering to others. The voice of God was in the forefront of them all. This collection is a compilation of my many years of walking with my Lord and Savior. I am a witness that He will never leave or forsake you no matter what you are going through.
