The robot panning devise described in this invention operates in a standardized way on all alluvial samples tested. By using the principles established by Stokes, Venturi, Torricelli, Newton, and Bernouli each sample is panned out the same way, so the resulting value particles can be subsequently analyzed by an XRF analyzer and numbers can be attained on 25 value materials.Each sample is coordinated with GPS and depth location numbers.Knowing the value materials and where they were found allows you to make a bathygraph, or just a map if the alluvial samples were collected on land, which presents iso-value curves on the flat or topological surface of the map.The idea is to find ore beds worthy of collection efforts. You want to bring in ore that is rich is highly valuable material. The cost of bringing up 100 tons of ore from the seabed will be vastly reduced by another invention that I plan to patent in the next few months.The robotic panning device described here is the second step in my process. The original location in which alluvial samples are collected will be described in another patent I plan to file in the next few months.For alluvial samples collected on land, a bucket and shovel will do fine. My invention described here only handles up to two kilograms of material. The purpose of the invention is plotting the iso-value curve, not getting the value particles. In that respect, this invention is not like the pans of the 1849 prospectors in the Mother Lode in California. They were trying to get the gold particles. But in every other respect my robot panning apparatus is very much like the old pans use in 1849. The physics is updated but not fundamentally altered. I have the same problems with flour gold (float gold) that the gold miners had centuries ago. If rich ore is on land or in the sea, my method of plotting iso-value lines is the way to find it. The robot panner creates precise iso-value lines by operating in a uniform, predictable, and standardized way like most pieces of precise industrial equipment.My machine can use salt or fresh water. It does not add flotation or foaming agents, so the tailings can be discarded on land or at sea with absolutely no environmental impact. What came from the land or sea goes back where it come from, like you, or me. One of the variants of my device uses Coulombic charges, but not the preferred embodiment. I would rather process the samples using only Newtonian and Stokes laws, and without adding static electric charge to the material. But even if that is added, it dissipates instantly when the tailings are returned to the land or sea, so there is no environmental impact from my process of analysis, and information gathering.This Provisional Patent Application contains no claims, and only fairly crude patent drawings.
