It is a critical, though objective , perspective of a development worker that has experienced poverty , lived with poor and doing something very very practical in order to improve the lot of the people on sustainable basis . This book is also punctuated with witty/ African wise sayings/stories here and there. The idea is to stimulate our conscience into doing something very practical in order to improve the living conditions of people in our various communities.To whom much is given much is expected; applies to those of us that have been endowed with knowledge, skills and resources that could be channeled properly in order to put a smile on the faces of the generality of people around us. We also ought to give back to the society all the good things that other people in the past have laboured for, in order to make us what we are today.
