• Fill in the missing letters – letters in various words in a text passage have been omitted. Complete the word so that the passage makes sense.

• Word banks – some words have been omitted from a text passage and put in a word bank. Choose the correct word from the word bank to fill in the blanks so that the passage makes sense.
