Synopsis
Valley of Vision Remix is a compilation of prayers and devotions, adapted from “The Valley of Vision: A Collection of Puritan Prayers”, that have been reimagined, rewritten, and refreshed in modern English by T.G. Melton. This particular volume of Valley of Vision Remix, focuses on praying to Our Triune God - the God who is: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Three persons, but one God. One God, yet three persons.The prayers in this book engage with the mysterious Trinitarian nature of God, while acknowledging that even though he is fully present with us, he is also far beyond us. Hopefully, these truths will help us to pray with more intimacy and passion in the worship of Our Triune God; so that we will come to know the fullness of his heart, even when we cannot trace the direction of his hand; and so we will more deeply experience the nature of his love, even when we cannot possibly fully comprehend the nature of his being.
