Author of this Book has vast experience in emulators for Wireless Networks. Software Engineering is interesting subject but the treatment of the subject is bit skewed towards web development and web testing as is evident from many software engineering books and papers. Therefore the Author tries to shed light on the subject from communication network engineering perspective. Where possible Author mentions how the software engineering was practiced in his organizations. This Book is basically for advanced professionals with the knowledge of Software Engineering, Communication Networks,Foundations of Software Testing, Network Programming and some one with brief knowledge of Satellite Communication. Author explains how his work in Wireless Network Organization could be used for forward looking projects like satellite communication systems testing etc along with terrestrial networks for communication testing. Introduction chapter is dedicated to what the projects were in his past organization so that readers are on the same page as Author when he discusses the principle and practices of software engineering. So it the Book is partly past and partly forward looking towards the satellite communication. This Book does NOT contain proprietary information of Authors past organization so Author does NOT violate any of his past agreements with his past organizations. No Organization’s internal consumption only matter is discussed in the Book. I am sure this book will be of benefit to Authors Readers.
