Plus, we've added amazing artwork from Central Ohio teen artists! We’re excited to be publishing the work of over one hundred teen writers and artists from Central Ohio. Flip the Page is written, staffed, and produced by Central Ohio teenagers and Thurber House staff. We showcase the work of local writers, ages 13 to 19, and provide experience in submission, critique, editorial design, and publication. Submissions and artwork are juried by a committee of teen writers from the Young Writers' Studio, a semi-monthly writing workshop for high school students. The Young Writers' Studio is sponsored by Thurber House.

Thurber House is a literary arts center and museum located in the home of humor writer and cartoonist James Thurber. Programs include the Thurber Prize for American Humor, writer residencies, author readings, writing classes for children and adults, and a museum of Thurber memorabilia. Flip the Page is one of of Thurber House's educational programs. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Thurber House was the home of the humorist, author, and New Yorker cartoonist James Thurber during his college years in Columbus, Ohio.
