We, who are birthed into the church, understand that we are definitely born into the family of God and that every spirit-filled believer has been adopted into the legal state of sonship wherein God is our Heavenly Father. The church has heard of this fact for years and yet those who have been extended sonship have never understood what their sonship entails or what their responsibilities are as a bonafide son of the living God. This modest study is to explore the aspects of sonship and to inform us of our duties as sons. There are many in the church who do not fully understand that every born again believer is a son of the new birth process and is also held responsible for achieving and obtaining all that a son is responsible for achieving and obtaining. Sonship rights, as well as sonship obligations to the Father, come with being a son. Many do not see or choose to totally ignore these aspects of sonship. It is this fact that has been the motivation of the writing of this book. May it give insight into Biblical sonship as well as enable us to discover the purpose of the sons of God.
