Synopsis
After his science fair experiment accidently takes out the principal, Simon Snotwen finds himself seated in the office of the strange and mysterious Dr. Rosen. What Simon doesn’t know is that Dr. Rosen is far more than Lincoln Academy’s assistant principal; he is the leader of a secret organization called the Science Squad. Simon soon learns it was more than chance that brought him to his new school, as he is thrown into a series of tests that involve battling an acid-spitting mutant, unveiling secret writings, and defusing a bomb that threatens to blow up the entire building! Join Simon on his quest and discover some cool science along the way, as you try the same experiments used by The Squad. À propos de l?auteur
Mr. Scott Hubeny has been in the field of education nearly two decades. During his career he has had the privilege to teach the youngest of students (preschool) all the way up to adult learners, and every age in between! He currently teaches high school science in the Boston Public Schools. The illustrations and cover art for this story were created by Mr. Hubeny, and if you would like to see more of his art, check out the website www.180dayz.com, where he combines his artistic talents with his teaching experiences to create hilarious comics about education. When he is not writing, cartooning, or teaching, Mr. Hubeny loves to spend time with his wife and their five children. They reside in the South Shore area of Massachusetts.
