Synopsis
The travels of Upaya will take you into lands and customs unseen for centuries. The story comes together through years of research and our hero’s journey is famous in the far-east. At many a community gathering the epic battles are retold by the story teller using the roaring bon-fire for a back drop. The adventure takes you through places that existed in the the distant past. Altered little from the first story teller countless generations ago, the reader will be taken on a unique journey. My research into the prophecy Upaya is hoping to aid, shows a harder way of life forgotten by our generation. People survive and thrive in a time of thawing glaciers and battling dragons. Upaya is trying to bring a missing corner piece of a jade tablet held in the sacred mountain Kailasa, far north of him with the hope of completing the broken tablet. His travels will take you through lands and cities that left him speechless. Caverns of pristine crystal will swallow you up along with Upaya as the snake men known as the Naga hunt him. Takai, a dark wizard leading the chase, aids an evil Emperor who is sparing no expense to bring Upaya down. Upaya receives aid along the way but he knows an arrow might soon find him. He was the one tasked to bring the missing piece of the jade tablet to a mountain range many months away. Evil is encroaching on the world and will soon smother it for countless generations in darkness unless Upaya is successful in preserving, The Merkaba’s Light.
