MARTIN J. MILES, the 'Crazy Englishman' is the author of Fifty Pence And A Bowl Of Soup. A former field service engineer for over 20 years, one day he found himself at a low point in his life. Living in a dive over a fish and chip shop with only a bowl of soup to eat and fifty pence for the electric meter - things had to change.

Yet five years later things had indeed turned around. Driven to help others to do the same, Martin wrote this self-help book on the life lessons he had learned from his own ups and downs. As a result, he has taken a deep interest in the mysteries and philosophies of succeeding in life, which he reveals in this book.

Martin lives with his lovely wife in the leafy suburbs of Surrey, on the outskirts of London, in England. They’ve raised two wonderful, successful sons. He is now currently working on his next book, assists in the community and is the owner of a small publishing company.
