Synopsis

The Adventures of Samson and Mogi is a funtastic tale of adventure in which Mogi the cat, Samson the dog and several other incredible critters unknowingly work together to get two stolen turtle brothers back home. When the turtles are rescued from an oil spill in the Red Sea, they go to live with Mogi, Samson and their owners, the Aguileras. The Aguileras are believers in Messiah who share bible stories as family time in their beautiful greenhouse, where all their pets live. The animals share the truths they've learned through the storytelling with the new turtles. When the turtles are stolen, the Truth of the Gospel goes with them to Amiri's Pet Shop where hilarious events begin to take place. There, they share the truths they've learned. But animals aren't the only ones hearing the Gospel. At the heart of this funny story is the question of forgiveness; will it be granted? I believe you'll find that reading this story as a family can be just as good as a movie night...even better! (and I don't just say that because I'm the author.) A Turtle Thief in the Night is sure to warm your heart, make you laugh and maybe even cause you to shed a tear.

From the creator of "Solomon's Book", comes Kimberly Ann Martinez, aka Anne Martell. Hmm, that sounded very much like a voice over introduction to a new movie...at least, that's what I was going for. What shall we go for next; writing in the first person, or third? I choose third, like some of the apostles did in their epistles. It seems a bit more modest, even though you already know it's me. Achem... Kimberly Martinez... but that doesn't sound right. I'll be honest. I can take no credit for this because I'm not the one who made me, God did. My biography belongs to the Author and Finisher of my faith, Yeshua the Messiah. It is He who guides my understanding and gives me talent and creativity to write beautiful things, interesting things, encouraging things, funny things and truth. I owe my life to Him and everything good in it. Having known of Him all my life, it was only ten years ago that He called me to surrender and five years ago that He opened my eyes to the whole Word of God. He has blessed me with words. Words to bless others and to build up others. He's blessed me with creativity and sound imagination and I choose to use those gifts for good, clean things. I live in El Paso, Texas where I have few but solid brothers and sisters in the faith but know that I have many abroad. It is my hope and my passion to encourage Christians to seek the Whole Word of God, with love, patience and understanding. I'm just blessed to be able to write a few stories along the Way.
