Lynn S. Combes was born in Queens, New York. She married her husband and they moved to Florida 33 years ago to raise their family of three children. Their first daughter was called home to be with the Lord at the age of five. The death of her daughter prompted Lynn to become educated in the grieving process. Her desire to help others deal with grief motivated her to work in a local Hospice organization where she developed and oversaw bereavement programs. She later went on to completer her Masters Degree in elementary education. She specialized in Childhood Learning Disabilities. Her expertise in the grieving process has given Lynn numerous opportunities to speak to groups and individuals. This testimony along with her love and devotion to God, forms the basis of her writings. Her first book, A Garden Full of Butterflies , deals with grief from a child's perspective. Pamela Jo King was born in Iowa. Her parents moved their family to the Tampa Bay area in 1960. She is married with one daughter. Pam has a BS in Dental Hygiene and retired after 40 years in the dental field. Her next career was to be editing and indexing books but after she edited Lynn's first book she realized she loved writing and working with Lynn. So when Lynn decided to writer another book, they collaborated and Matthew's Miracle was written. Their next book was an illustrated book, Katie's Quilt. Pam and Lynn met at church 30 years ago and have been best friends since then. Besides writing, Pam loves to quilt and read.
