Pete McKechnie has been writing poetry for many years. His past includes working with children with a variety of disorders in a residential setting, teaching meditation classes with a strong influence from Native American spirituality, along with many years building custom houses. Living in Baker WV, Pete favors the quite truth he finds in nature, and much of his poetry reflects the natural world and truths found in a deep sense of spiritual connection with nature and the natural world.
