Thank you for joining us on this journey in faith. This is our second in a series of devotions inspired by the ocean, beach, salt marshes, and wetlands that grace our coasts. If you enjoyed our first volume you will find this book to be in a similar fashion. If you are new to us then you will discover these devotions are intentionally written to encourage, affirm, perhaps reaffirm a relationship with God. They do so by observing the life surrounding these settings including the birds of the air and the sea life that reveals itself to us and allowing God to bring insight to us through these creatures. Let us be reminded that heaven and earth proclaim the wonder of God’s handiwork, it is, however, God whom we acknowledge and Christ whom we affirm as being Lord of lords and King of kings. This is a book written with you the reader in mind. You can choose to read this book in any order you choose, it is not necessary to read it in chronological order. Each devotion is written to stand on its own, not being connected to any other devotion. Therefore, this really does become your devotional book. It is our hope that as you read these devotions you will feel the stirring in your heart and spirit and allow the Spirit of God to enter in a more profound manner and the relationship between you and God will deepen in such a way that you will grow stronger in faith and walk more deeply in faith each day.’So, beloved if you are ready to let us begin and may your journey draw you closer to God in every way.
