Synopsis

A personal account of my faith walk for my family and descendants, encouraged by the lack of such insight provided by my forbears.A friend of mine recently counseled (with a straight face) that perhaps I should try to capture whatever wisdom I have accumulated by writing letters to my kids and family. The context was in frustration over our common challenges in sharing our most important thoughts with those closest to us. For me the challenge was anchored in my conflict with the pride I feel for each of my children in their very different but significant accomplishments in their lives and my concern that they understand those truths I believe I have discovered.
