Synopsis

Twins Lydia and Catherine Reed are identical in appearance but not in dreams. Catherine longs for love and marriage and easily fits into the pattern of the proper Regency young lady. When Charles realizes that her interest, and her intellect, are equal to the topics, he reconsiders his opinions of the female mind. But is his change of heart too late to convince Lydia that he is willing to share his interests, and his life and heart, with a rebel “scholar in petticoats”?
