Travis Mills runs a small cattle ranch in Montana with his two daughters and son. No one knows much about Travis, nor the facts surrounding his wife’s death, but everyone understands that this quiet rancher moved to Montana to be alone with his thoughts. An incident arises that challenges Travis’ peaceful nature as the townsfolk celebrate his heroism against the town bully. Unfortunately for Travis, the young man is the son of a state Senator so he soon becomes a target of his wrath. Unable to find any real history about Travis, the Senator pulls some strings to look further into his life, only to find a roadblock marked, ‘Classified.’ The Senator contacts a friend at the Pentagon who begins to look further into the ‘classified’ file of Travis, but runs into more frustration. With the stir of rumors and whisperings, Travis decides that it is time to finally tell his family and friends the truth about his life before them. In order for his children and friends to believe the story of his remarkable past, Travis enlists the aid of some friends at the Army base who help to lead the audience along a journey of adventure, mystery and heroism. Travis has kept the secrets of his past quiet as he is not proud of the things that he has done, and has been hiding for years from the life of destruction that he has left behind. As the Senator and a Pentagon employee continue to search for answers, we find the President of the United States contacting Travis for a meeting with some advisors. The meeting ends with medals being awarded, however that is just a cover up for the true purpose of the meeting. It will never be known to those outside of the participants at the White House meeting, but Travis has been an integral part of a network of black op agents who are sanctioned by the President and a few key U.S. officials. Crime had begun to rival each American’s right to peace and security, and the expenditures on terrorism and drugs had become astronomical. In an effort to rid America of senseless crime, the President called for a War on Crime that was an operation that they appropriately named, Tourniquet.
