Battery manufacturing technology and the direction of the storage industry is evolving these days due to the advent of Electric Vehicles. To support these missions, a refreshed look is necessary to reevaluate energy storage foundations. As such, I reexamined all the year-old battery types to find their viability in this electric era environment.

Following four (4) points are the realities of today’s digital era. My thoughts on ‘Energy Storage’ effectiveness doubled up while I was summarizing this storage account:

• On storage issues, public expectation is like a ‘scientific breakthrough on storage technology will miraculously develop a formula soon to build ‘smart storages.’
• Non-profit groups set a goal for 10-fold increase of energy cell production to support energy deprived society worldwide. This is indeed a thoughtful initiative.
• Renewable energy (photovoltaic & wind electricity) generates at the wrong place and at the wrong time of day. Even to store this energy, experts want to introduce electrochemical technologies a cheap but perfect solution to solve energy crisis.
• ‘Storage Individualization’ is a type of movement where an individual entity does plan efficiently for his/her own energy needs.

For sure, there is no miraculous path to obtain Smart Storage, only the relentless effort by scientists could open path in that direction. When Cheap, Faster Charging and Long-Lasting Batteries (such as LIBs) be available everywhere, energy thrust will subside. Ultimate goal behind this book endeavor is ‘to reinvigorate consumers desire’ as well as to alert them to find better energy storage such as LIBs.
