Synopsis

The authors of The Fallen Poets are various students from the Building 21 High School’s after school Poetry Club. The Poetry Club lead by Ms. Ashley Clarke and Ms. Kelsey Romano consisted of student contributors ranging from 9th to 12th grade. Collectively they choose to tackle topics that address their experiences with love, fear, anger, and a lack of acceptance by family, friends, and the broader society. They hope that others will be able to see a reflection of their own experiences in their words as well as discover inspiration, hope, and a different perspective.
