Barry Midyet was born in a small town in the Texas Bible Belt. As he likes to say, as a teen he was baptized by a Nazarene minister in a Baptist Church; and as an adult, just to be on the safe side, he had it confirmed by an Episcopalian bishop. For 25 years he worked as an electronics/ computer engineer, and for the last 26 years he has devoted his life to studying the Bible and writing about it. His biggest claim to fame is probably his annual predictions based entirely on Bible prophecies, which for 26 years now have never failed to come to pass.
