Cloud computing environment is the most emerging and successful deployment model that provides services such as software, platform, and infrastructure to public/private sectors. The advent of technology in the IT/ITES organization has led to socio-economic impact across the internet society. The main interest of this book is to understand the cloud computing environment, threats in the cloud, cloud DDoS attack and DDoS dataset. Cloud DDoS dataset is built to provide the researchers with a deep understanding of the temporal behavior of the cloud parameters. The researchers can utilize the dataset to classify the various DDoS attack types and predict the attack as well. The anomalies can be studied and the effects of attack in private cloud could be inferred using efficient learning algorithms and predictive models.
