Synopsis

Why would anyone consider an alternative or holistic approach to a diagnosis like cancer? This book will take you on a journey with Suzy Griswold, founder of HealingStrong, an organization with faith-based holistic education and support groups meeting around the world. Created to Heal Strong includes stories of 14 other cancer conquerors as they seek answers for alternative methods to heal cancer, examining 5 critical areas that led to their own decision to pursue holistic treatments. 1) True healing is holistic. 2) Current cancer treatments aren't working well. 3) Cancer is a process and not a thing. 4) Sugar feeds cancer. 5) Oxygen fights cancer. Hear from patients with Stage 3 and 4 pancreatic and colon cancers like best-selling author, Chris Wark of Chris Beat Cancer, and others with lymphoma, breast cancer, and leukemia who share their stories of hope and healing. If you are unfamiliar with holistic and alternative therapies, this book is a great starting point to explore, seeking to gain wisdom with understanding (Proverbs 4:7). As Dr. Bernie Siegel put it so well, "we should be paying more attention to the exceptional patients instead of staring bleakly at those who die in the usual pattern." This book is filled with hope and encouragement, and hope never disappoints.
