Therone Shellman was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and was raised in Long Island, N.Y. As an author he's visited and conducted book signings in over twenty U.S. states. For two years he lived in Killeen, TX conducting business on Fort Hood Army base. After returning to NY for four years, he decided to come back to the Midwest to build his brand, and promote his message. Therone's skills and work experience are diverse. He's been employed as a Quality Assurance Inspector for LNK International Ltd (otc drug manufacturer/packager), Quality Assurance Inspector for Twin Laboratories Inc (vitamin, neutracuetical manufacturer/packager), Quality Assurance Inspector for Topiderm Inc (skin topical manufacturer/packager), Quality Assurance Inspector & Production Supervisor for Natures Bounty Inc (vitamin, neutraceutical manufacturer/packager.) As an entrepreneur Therone went on to form Third Eye Publishing Inc in 2005 and as a result released two award winning titles, published five authors, with over thirty thousand in sales of his works alone. He quickly developed a reputation as someone knowledgeable about the self-publishing platform, marketing and branding. Therone has a knack for creating characters which are true to life, and works which entertain as well as educate. Therone is the author of Love Don't Live Here (revised edition), No Love Lost, The Secrets of Self-Publishing 2, The Secrets of Self-Publishing, Third Eye Awakening, Survivor I Changed the Rules Pt.1, All You Need to Know to Become An Entrepreneur, One Good Man, Third Eye Awakening & Third Eye Awakening II, and Third Eye Awakening III. Becoming an author has allowed him the opportunity to develop other talents such as motivational speaking, marketing and sales, screen writing, and even acting. Aside doing many background roles for popular TV shows, he's modeled for book covers, presented for book trailers, and is looking forward to releasing an educational dvd short, which he produced and presented in. Therone has lectured twice at Purchase University with Dr. Rosetta Codlings class, at several libraries throughout the north east. He's also been a featured guest on The New Yorkers TV show, The Robert Wilmore Show, many literary websites, radio shows, and he’s earned write ups in a few newspapers. His newest venture is Therone Shellman Media, where he plans to exploit all of his talents, and skills.
