Synopsis

This book starts with Jesus’ return from Anglia to Nazareth. He is preparing for travel to India and later to Tibet to understand the basics of the religions practiced in these two enormous areas.Mary gives birth to her twin girls Ililia and Miriam, who have Joseph’s heartstrings. Joseph is getting progressively weaker. Jesus and Mary know he does not have many more years to live. Asimisi is failing and the Holy Family travels to Jerusalem. Jesus forgives Asimisi’s sins and they make their goodbyes. After Asimisi passes over, Uvilis her husband, decides to work with Jupolot and Vumis to improve the facilities for the lepers living in the wilderness near Jerusalem.Sil returns from Anglia and he stops at Lemoses in Cyprus when he learns that the plague is active in that area. They urgently need help. Jesus gets involved, when the town manager at Lemoses, focuses on reducing the costs rather than fully eradicating the plague. Jesus mobilizes resources and establishing martial law, using resources from the Danher area. Their concerted effort eliminates the plague. Opisor, a woman, who is the leader in the Danher area of the town, is a hero of the story.Jesus used Opisor’s cousin Hoskos, with the Danher militia, and one of Joseph of Arimathea’s ships to rescue Royalty trapped by pirates and to recover treasure. The pirates and their leader are brought to justice.Joseph, Mary husband, dies in the arms of Mary and Jesus. Mary is desolate but she offers her pain to God. After a year, Jesus explains that she must ask God to mitigate her pain, which is detracting from her mission of loving service to friends and those in need. When she does this, harmony is restored in Nazareth.Jesus and Homskol travel to India and help various people along the way. Near the monastery at Chandigarh, Jesus and his friends encountered Ulimp, the local warlord and his soldiers, who have terrorized the monks and the community. The two leaders of his band are committed to violence and they serve the Evil One. Despite repeated requests, they will not repent, and Jesus’ reluctantly consigns them to a place of punishment.Jesus and his comrades take shelter at the monastery at Sandila during a blizzard. They make repairs to their wagons and help with renovations to the monastery. They make carvings for the Hall of Worship. Jesus heals the Abbott who is tortured by nightmares, arising from an accident to his brother many years earlier. His nightmare is that his brother is being tormented in Hell.
