À propos de l'auteur

The author met his first computer via a teletype in a closet in middle school in the mid 1970s. The author met his first PC in high school to help him do the math for physics labs. The author met his first mainframe in college to help him do lots of things. The author graduated college and went into computer programming as a profession, which was then a daring and questionable choice (often questioned by the author's mother). Suddenly the author finds himself a grumpy old man with 34 years of experience and lots things he wants to explain to younger programmers, especially self-taught youngsters.
