In 1900 more than 80 percent of the world's Christians lived in Europe and North America and nearly all of the world's missionaries were sent out "from the West to the rest." F. Lionel Young III is a research associate at the Cambridge Centre for Christianity Worldwide. He has worked as a lecturer in theology and history in theological institutions throughout the non-Western world. He also serves as the Executive Vice President of Global Action (USA), an international non-profit that provides theological education for underserved leaders in the developing world.
