My father was a fisherman. One early Saturday morning he woke me up long before sunrise. I grabbed my cane pole and we headed to Lake Michigan. The perch were running. Dad put a worm on my hook and watched as I swung the pole into the water. In less than a minute I pulled in the first perch of the day. Each time I dropped my hook, I hauled in another fish. The school of fish numbered in the thousands. In less than an hour I caught over one hundred tasty fish. Memories are like that, when one is brought up, another one surfaces. I invite you to sit and share my memories. Who knows, you might just end up with a book of your own.
