FRED JESSETT writes fiction and creative non-fiction. His stories, columns and articles have appeared numerous different publications including the Seattle Times and The Sun. Born in Wenatchee, Washington, he attended public schools in Olympia, and Everett, Seattle's Lincoln High and the University of Washington. After service in the U.S. Army Fred became an Episcopal priest and served in Montana, Washington State and on the reservation of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, Sicangu Lakota Oyate, in South Dakota. Now retired, he splits his time between Spokane and Bellevue, Washington. He and Kris, his wife of 57 years, have four children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
