Synopsis

Welcome to Ad Hoc. Every book is at least two books. One of them is the book that shouts the loudest and puts its hand up first in class. It’s the one that makes itself known while the other one is still trying to figure out what it is. It’s the one that knows it has a beginning, a middle, and an end. While the other one is still sorting out what goes on between the covers. Ad Lib was the first book. The firstborn, if you like. This is Ad Hoc, the younger brother, or sister possibly. This is the one that came second. The one that doesn’t have to tell its story by starting from the beginning. It has the same personality as its older kin. But doesn’t look much like it. Or read anything like it. Both are about Advertising and creativity, with lots of other interesting stuff packed in between the words and the lines. Like Ad Lib, Ad Hoc is casual, often off the cuff, sometimes off the wall…and now and then off the damned reservation. And it’s also a compilation of social media articles written over a period of a year, or longer depending on how much information grey cells can hold at any one time without bursting at the seams. Also, like its older sibling, every episode in Ad Hoc is merely a couple of pages long (or short). Perfect for relaxing with over a nice black coffee, or a green tea, or maybe even something a little stronger. Or a lot. It’s the kind of book you can start wherever you want to and stop whenever the hell you feel like it. And the next time you pick it up, it’ll feel like you’ve never put it down. I hope you enjoy the bits in between the words, as much as you do the words themselves…
