À propos de l?auteur

Author Stone Workman is a retired flight attendant and an active public servant. Born and raised in South Carolina, he has traveled the United States and the world, acted as director of the USDA in Georgia, and served as city councilman and as mayor pro tem of the small town in Georgia where he and his family have resided for over twenty years. He enjoys good food, good books, Clemson football, and sharing lively stories with children. The Four-Way Stop, his third book with illustrator Linda Aldridge, is based on an old family tale from his childhood. Illustrator Linda Aldridge is a free-lance artist and writer. Born in Massachusetts and raised in Virginia, she has lived in Georgia for over thirty years, working along the way as a teacher, bank teller, seamstress, and librarian. She enjoys music, drawing and painting, reading, sharing art and books with children, and listening to Stone’s children’s stories. Although her children are grown, she still enjoys cozying up with a good picture book now and then. Her work includes the illustrated maps of Ted Dunagan’s Yellow Watermelon series. Stone and Linda's books together are The Animals and the Manger, A Mother's Love, and The Four-Way Stop.
