It’s a few days after Christmas. All the animals are asleep in the stable in Bethlehem—until the little lamb discovers that the manger is empty and the family is gone! Where will they find Baby Jesus? The Animals and the Manger is a tale about the cow, the donkey, the goat, the dog, and the turtledoves who have witnessed Jesus’ birth and the little lamb who leads them in solving the mystery of the holy family’s disappearance. In simple words and pictures and a few selected Bible verses, the book invites the very young and the young at heart to make a connection between Christmas and Easter.
