J. Wayne Stillwell was educated as a scientist and Engineer, served 34 years as a Naval Officer then completed a second career as Vice President of an R&D company. He is currently an independent consultant and fiction writer. He authored the first of his eleven books in 2003 and the eleventh in 2019. He and his spouse of 52 years, Bernadette, have two sons, John and Matthew, and four grandchildren.
