When one speaks about sports in Tanzania, most probably the minds go to SIMBA and YANGA Sport Clubs. There are different kinds of sports but the majority of Tanzanians, sports means football and football means Yanga and Simba sports Clubs with other small teams. Yanga is also known as Young. These two teams have been bringing joys, cries, conflicts, stress, happiness, unity, divisions, solidarity, peace, arguments and joking relations among the Tanzanian community. In short the teams bring mixed reactions in Tanzania. At times when playing, members of Parliament from different political parties unite. They forget about their political differences for a while when cheering for their teams. In most cities and towns of Tanzania when the two teams are playing, thieves stop from stealing, markets slow for a while, motorists park their motors near a radio of TV and major activities stop too for at least 90 minutes. Apart from these positive things the teams are bringing, there are silent conflicts and negatives the teams are bringing too. Imagine when the business stops! When women stop cooking for a while or forget that the stove or the gas is on and nothing is been cooked! Imagine a good number of women forgetting their cooking ‘sufurias’ for a while just to watch the match. While watching this match, there at home, the husband who is from work is back waiting for something to eat...think about the conflict arising from it! All in all the positives coming from the two teams are greater compared to those from the other side.Simba and Young unify all people together, the research calls all humanity to embrace education at all times. If Tanzanians are able to survive all seasons with their teams, the same way they can survival while holding on education at all times. As of now it is very rare to see the whole grade one class reaches grade seven. Many end up somewhere on the way. Let say in grade one they begin 100, the happiness is to see all finishing grade vii. Usually only around 90 pupils or below complete ( this is through observation and lived experince). We question, how many go to secondary schools? Most probably are only 40. That is not the end but the stages continue from Form one until Form Four level. Most probably only 25-30 finish. Then what about form six? may be only 3 and then to University probably one or none. Mind you the number began 100! (ref to Schooling 4 a purpose-ageless)-Where are the 99? Where exact are? - What are they doing now? Are we interested to know anyway! -How can we bring them back through different programs of education? Are they building the national economy too? How are they working? On the last question the answer could be a BIG YES. The sad news is, this is the group which is almost abandoned or receive tittle to improve their skills. They cultivate and grow their crops in the same way which their ancestress and ancestors used to do. The question arise is, what is the cause of all these? In fact the answer could be lack of continuous education. Despite the failures that these people get from schooling, they remain faithful to their farms but also enjoy games of Simba and Yanga! They can not be far from their radios when these teams are playing. Standard seven leavers can cease from going back to school but they can never cease from working in the farm and being a fan of either Simba and Young (this for the majority not all). They can divorce and choose another partner but not between Yanga and Simba. A simple innovative survey was conducted at STELLA MARIS UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, MTWARA TANZANIA verified this. The second part of this book tells a live story from CAGAYAN DE ORO, PHILIPPINES where the researcher initiated programs including sports and made a difference. The researcher holds: Phd, MA and BA in Education, STB and BA in Theology, BA in Philosophy, Diploma in Mass communication and Religious Studies. At the moment he is a lecturer at STEMMUCO (UNIVERSITY-MTWARA, TANZANIA)
