Synopsis
From the historic City of Charleston, South Carolina to the folklore-filled counties of West Virginia, the author is back on the trail to bring you another collection of his haunted graveyard investigations. In this book, the author explores the graveyards of Southern churches that survived two major wars, while picking up a host of ghostly residents that refuse to allow the past to be forgotten. Returning to West Virginia, he explores a number of haunted burial sites including one at a Southern-sympathizing, Pre-Civil War, log church where apparitions of Confederate soldiers are sometimes seen marching and assembling in the churchyard. He cautiously finishes up at a church, where vigilantes beat and whipped both the minister and the church founders. To this day, they are trying to peacefully co-exist in a sinister “graveyard of the unforgiven.”
